How Label Printing Works
The label printing process follows these four steps:
1. Receive items on scanner
2. Select 'Yes' to label prompt
3. Item added to label queue
4. Print labels from EPASS
This process is designed specifically for item receiving workflows. Many items already contain manufacturer barcodes for scanning during receiving, but companies may still want to print their own internal labels afterward.
Label Printer Setup
No printer configuration is required in EPASS WMS. Label printers — including Zebra printers — are configured through EPASS Terminal Settings. Any compatible label printer can be used.
Setup:
File > Terminal Settings > Printers Tab

Frequently Asked Questions
Q: Can we set up a Zebra label printer to print directly from the WMS scanner?
A: No printer setup is needed in WMS. Label printing works from EPASS, not the scanner. You can use any label printer — including Zebra — and configure it in Terminal Settings in EPASS. Selecting Yes on the scanner adds items to the label queue; you then print from EPASS after receiving is complete.
Q: Can we use WMS Print for item label printing?
A: No. WMS Print is for printing reports from the scanner only. Item label printing works through the label queue — select Yes on the scanner during receiving, then print the queued labels from EPASS. These are two separate functions and should not be confused.
