Claimworks / JustPressOne: How to automatically update the invoice job status when a claim is successfully submitted

EPASS can automatically update invoice job status when a ClaimWorks claim is successfully submitted.
 

  1. Open Tools > System Maintenance
  2. Open Variables > Invoicing
  3. Open EDI tab
  4. In the ClaimWorks section at the bottom of the form is an option to Update JobStatus to.
  5. Select the Job Status you want the invoice to change to when a claim is successfully submitted.
  6. Close EPASS and reopen it for the change to take effect.

This invoicing variables setting will be used when manually clicking the ClaimWorks button on an invoice.

 

The Warranty EDI window (Invoicing > Warranty EDI) also has an Update JobStatus selector. This will automatically pre-fill from the invoicing variable set earlier, but could be changed if needed (unlikely).

 

Only claims that are successfully submitted to ClaimWorks will have their job statuses updated.
