Claimworks/JustPressOne: How to assign a service center number to a warranty bill to customer

Context: EPASS sends the service center number from the Invoice Warranty tab to Claimworks/JustPressOne based on the service brand on the invoice. This is sent to the account_number field on Claimworks/JustPressOne’s end.

 

 

 

EPASS now supports the ability to map multiple service center numbers to individual bill-to customers. This allows a unique account number to be sent to multiple 3rd party warranty companies, each with unique identifiers.

 

Steps:

  1. Open Tools > System Maintenance
  2. Open the Brand table
  3. Open the Brand that you want to assign service center numbers to
  4. Open the Settings 2 tab and add any necessary service center numbers in the service center section.

Whenever the service brand or bill-to customer is added or modified, EPASS will fill in the expected service center number in the warranty tab and that will be sent to Claimworks/JustPressOne.

 

Note: this is brand-specific, so this process will need to be repeated for each warranty brand.
