How to Set a GL Account Without a Decimal in Misc Codes

In some cases, a customer’s GL account may include a decimal (for example, 5052.01) but they don’t have root GL Account (for example, 5052). However, Misc Codes can be configured to use the root GL account without a decimal (for example, 5052).

To enter a GL account without a decimal:

1. Disable the “Auto Popup” option in the Terminal settings (File > Terminal Settings).
2. Add the GL account to the Misc Code:

• Navigate to Miscellaneous > Add/Edit Misc Code
• Manually enter the root GL account (for example, 5052)
• Enable the “Add Profit Center” option to apply the profit center
• Click OK

** During the initial system setup, Auto Popup is typically disabled to allow users to enter root GL accounts (such as 5052). Once setup is complete, you can re-enable Auto Popup in Terminal Settings.
