Setup the Default Receive Location for Items

When manually receiving Items in Purchasing in EPASS, it’s important to ensure that items purchased are received into the correct location. You can configure a default receive location for items in the Purchasing Variables.

 

What It Does

You can enable the Order for Terminal Location option in Purchasing Variables. Once enabled, any purchase order created will automatically assign that location. When the PO is received, the items will be received into the same location.

How to Set Up

  1. Navigate to Purchasing Variables in EPASS.

  2. Under the General Tab, enable the Order for Terminal Location.

  1.  Setup the Item Delivery Loc and Item Pickup Loc in the Terminal Settings for the Branch where you want to receive the Items.

 

4. Configure the EPASS shortcut to point to the correct branch.

 

Once these steps are completed, new purchase orders will automatically use this location for ordering, and items will default to the same location when received.
