Message Events control notification delivery for specific actions in EPASS.

Using an Expeditor to Manage Notifications

If you want one person to manage notifications for all salespeople or for a specific salesperson, you can assign an Expeditor. An Expeditor receives notifications on behalf of the assigned salesperson without requiring changes to existing invoice assignments.

How to Assign an Expeditor

1. Navigate to User Profile > Settings 1.

2. Locate the Expeditor field.

3. Assign the User ID of the person who should receive notifications on behalf of the salesperson.

Example:
If the user CP (Salesperson code CP), you can assign BJ as the Expeditor. BJ will then receive all notifications on behalf of CP.

Message Event Configuration

In the Message Event setup, ensure that the Salesperson1 Expeditor or Salesperson2 Expeditor option is selected for the relevant events.

If CP remains assigned as Salesperson1 or Salesperson2 on the invoice header, the assigned Expeditor (BJ in this example) will receive the notifications.

Result

Once configured, the Expeditor assigned to Salesperson1 or Salesperson2 on the invoice header will automatically receive all associated Message Event notifications.
