Issue: User adds extended warranty on an invoice and expects the warranty to expire in the year 20xx but it shows up as expiring in 19xx which is from the previous century.Solution: Check the Windows Region settings to make sure the two-digit year range is set correctly. Our extended warranty uses two-digit for the year so depending how the Region settings are configured in Windows on the server, the terminal servers and the workstations, it can either display the year in the correct century or the wrong one.1. In Windows, look for Control Panel and open it.2. Double-click on Region.3. On the Region page, click on Additional Settings.4. On the next page, go to the Date tab.5. At the bottom area, set the Calendar years from 1950 to 2049 (or any other year-range that works) as shown below.Example: If the extended warranty ends in the year ‘30’ then the above will work as it will correctly display ending in 2030. If the extended warranty were to end in the year ‘60’ though, it will display 1960 instead which would be wrong and as a result you will need to adjust the year-range again when that happens.
