Using 2025 as our date range, here is what selecting each status and date type together would do:

Status is finished and date type is finish date. This will show you anything finished in 2025 regardless of what the start date is.
Stated is finished and date type is start date. This will show you anything finished in 2025 and written in 2025.
Status is all and date type is start date. This will show you all invoices regardless of status that were written in 2025.
Status is open and date type is start date. This will show you all open invoices that were written in 2025.
“Status open and date type finish date” and “status all and date type finish date” would not be run together
