Q: Is there a way to know if a user has read a message I sent?
A: Yes, you can check the status of a sent message to see if it has been viewed or deleted by the recipient.
To do this:
Go to the Messaging System in EPASS.
Click the Sent Item then click the Show History.
Locate the message in question.
Click on Show History.
The Show History window will display the following details:
Viewed: Indicates if the recipient has opened the message.
Viewed Date and Time: The exact date and time the message was read.
Deleted: Indicates if the message has been deleted by the recipient.
Deleted Date and Time: The exact date and time the message was removed.
This feature is helpful for tracking engagement and confirming whether important communications have been acknowledged.
