How to set up the PAI Schedule button for Package.ai

How to setup using the Package.ai Scheduling Integration.

  1. In PAI's system you need to create your own Web Key by going to user management --> new user --> Web API user type and generate a key to be used with EPASS.
  2. In EPASS go to the System maintenance table Package.ai Hub. Edit your existing Hub record and paste the web key in then press okay.
  3. On The invoice types fill in Package AI Hub on the settings 2 tab with the Hub ID. It is possible if you only have one package.ai Hub in EPASS that Hub ID is blank in which case you would leave the field blank on the invoice type.
  4. Fill in the URL for Scheduling field in Dispatching Variables – Integrations tab. Note this field is going to be unique for each client. Consult with your Package.ai rep to confirm what yours should be. The formatting for the URL is as follows: https://app.package.ai/recipient/COMPANY/#/app/schedule?
  5. There is a user security option in EPASS that allows a user to see the Schedule Button. Ensure the appropriate Users/Groups have the security “Package.AI Schedule Button” enabled.

 Exit out of EPASS and that user / group should now have access to the PAI schedule button on the right side of the invoice header.
