Maximizing Wireless Device Battery Life: Simple Tips for Extended Use

The typical battery life expected from a wireless device would be  approximately 4 - 6 hours, depending on usage. If this device is heavily used we would expect a quicker discharge rate.

There are a few steps that can be taken to attempt to increase battery life such as adjusting screen brightness or allowing the device to go in a standby mode.

Adjusting Screen Brightness:

1. Enter admin menu by allowing the device to boot and enter the button combination 2-6-3-4
2. Locate the option for "Control Panel"
3. Select the option for "Terminal Settings"
4. Finally select "ECO Mode"

On this menu you will have options to adjust the standby mode timeout time along with other options to adjust screen brightness

Backlight - Allows you to adjust the backlight level/brightness

Standby Timeout - How long the terminal takes before falling into standby mode

Standby on power - Enable/disable standby from happening when device is connected to power

Wake up on touch - enable/disable re-engaging terminal with touch
