How to use Wildcards in EPASS Maintenance Screens
This article will review how to use the wildcard symbol to search for invoices, models, and items on the maintenance screens.
In the EPASS Maintenance screen, the % symbol is considered a Wildcard Symbol. You can use this to find invoices, Items, or Models where you cannot remember the whole part of what you are searching for.
Examples:
Invoice
You are on the Invoice Screen and you are trying to bring up invoice SA00010687. You can not remember how many 0s are in the invoice number. You can type in sv%10687 and match “Anywhere” and it will bring up all invoices that start with SA and end with 10687.
Model/Items
You are on the Serial screen and want to find model M0391O but you cannot remember the middle part of the model. You can type in m%91O and match “Anywhere” and that would bring up model “M0391O”.
This would work for Item Maintenance as well.
TIPS
If you want to see a list of all your models, use the % symbol in the Model table.
