Error message: Automation error - ClassFactory cannot supply requested class

Problem

When logging into EPASS, the following message appears:

System Error: -2147221231
Automation error
ClassFactory cannot supply requested class
[OK]

Solution

Re-updating your EPASS client should resolve this.

1. Navigate to the folder where EPASS is installed (usually C:\EPASS).
2. Run the ePASSUpdates file (you may need to right-click and Run as administrator).
   
   
    
3. When the program launches, check Replace all files and then click Start.
   
   
    
4. Close the program and try launching EPASS again.
